The Details That
Define Excellence.
In a premium renovation, the finish is everything. The craftsmanship of a space lives in its millwork joints, its tile grout lines, the consistency of its paint sheen, and the precision of every installed piece. These aren't afterthoughts — they're the entire point.
Craft Over Convenience
Most residential construction today optimizes for speed over quality. Pre-built components, templated solutions, and production-line subcontractors produce homes that look finished but lack the depth of real craftsmanship.
Custom finishes are where Ronin's New York background distinguishes our work from the competition. NYC's high-end residential market demands precision that doesn't exist in production homebuilding — and we've carried that standard to every project we build in Arizona.
We don't rush finishes. We don't accept acceptable. Every detail is executed correctly or it's redone.
"The quality of a renovation is visible in every detail a client touches, every surface they see, and every corner they look around."

Custom Finish Categories
Six categories of custom finish work, each requiring specialized skill sets and sourcing relationships we've cultivated over years of premium residential work.
Bespoke Millwork
Built-in shelving, coffered ceilings, custom crown molding profiles, door and window casing, and wainscoting — all fabricated or custom-ordered to your exact dimensions and style.
Feature Walls
Shiplap, board and batten, slat walls, fabric panels, and wood accent installations that create the focal point a room is designed around. Every panel and fastener is level and true.
Custom Tile Patterns
Herringbone, chevron, basketweave, Moroccan cement, encaustic, and large-format installations requiring laser-level precision and master-level tile setting technique.
Designer Material Sourcing
Access to premium tile, stone, wood, metal, and specialty materials not available through standard supply channels. We help clients find and procure the exact material their vision requires.
Decorative Concrete
Stained, polished, micro-topping, and stamped concrete for floors, countertops, and accent surfaces. Durable, distinctive, and dramatically more interesting than standard alternatives.
Specialty Paint Techniques
Venetian plaster, limewash, Roman clay, color-wash, and metallic finish applications that bring texture and depth to walls and ceilings that flat paint simply cannot achieve.
How We Approach Custom Finish Work
Custom finishes require more preparation, more precision, and more time than standard work. We don't rush them.
Design Consultation
We discuss your vision, walk your space, and develop a detailed scope of the custom finish work required.
Material Selection
We source and present material samples and help you make selections that work together and within your budget.
Skilled Installation
Every custom finish is executed by craftspeople with specific experience in that discipline — not general laborers.
Detail Inspection
Before delivery, every finish is inspected at close range in multiple lighting conditions. Anything that doesn't pass is corrected.
